House Sound of Birmingham - Spirit of The Hummingbird
In 1988 a sound called Acid House spawned a youth culture that has seen it's legacy continue till this day.
House music has been played in this city since 1985, but in 1988 a weekly night called Hipnoziz at a club called The Hummingbird set the ground of what was to come. The following year the Snapper Club continued and truly cemented The Hummingbird as part of the city's House history.
